This remnant of a building is actually an ex-golf field, or as far as I’m concerned, a shooting range, too small for a golf field if you ask me.
The facility itself is a part of a sport complex that is more or less decaying. The other part of the complex where the racing track used to be has been fenced, the exact fate of the place is a shopping mall. And the skinny horses are eating foul grasses in the middle of the asphalt which has been used as a wild race track by the teenagers.
This shooting range (or hitting range? I’m not really familiar with golf, and I mean at all) I suppose, is going to be part of the mall, the parking lot perhaps.
Not that I’m being emotional about it, it’s just the realization that our town is increasingly crowded, hotter, gone is the time when you can stretch your arm in the middle of the road. If you do that now, you might hit someone’s face or bump your hands against the hot surface of the cars.
I guess it’s inevitable, while some of us indulged in the so called changes, or development, some others are abandoned and vanishing.
